We never share or show your exact location.

Surroundities is a location based service (LBS), in so far that we use location to work out your neighborhood and neighbours, but with a major difference to other location based services.

Your location is an extremely sensitive piece of information. Our current solution to dealing with the issue of your location is to never show or share it, so that you can be safe in the knowledge that nobody will be able to see your location online.

Our goal with Surroundities is to enable you to make your community a better place and to get more out of your community by being able to interact with your neighbours. And we want to help you achieve that by giving you the tools to safely participate in your community without the understandable fear of sharing your exact location online.
